89:13   Tavor and Chermon sing forth Your name

Mount Tavor located in the lower Galilee.

The first segment of this psalm calls out to Hashem in praise of the wonderful acts of kindness and love He does for the world. While praising God and acknowledging that He is Creator and Master of the world, the psalmist turns to the great mountains Tavor and Chermon. Mount Tavor is where the great battle of Barak against the army of Sisera, king of Canaan, took place. Mount Chermon is the highest point in the Land of Israel, soaring over 2200 meters above sea level in the currently Israeli-controlled part of the mountain range, and reaching over 2800 meters above sea level at its peak. These magnificent mountains rejoice in Hashem’s name, and testify to the greatness of their Creator.

  • We call out to you our Mighty and Wondrous Creator and Father God. We Thank You for the World you have Created and all its Wonders. the psalm calls out in great and unbridled joy. How can not God be not the Master of this World. For did He not create this place of Splendid Wonder indeed. He then turns to the mountains of Tabor and Hermon, where the great battle of Gideon against the army of Sisera, king of Canaan, took place. This is the highest place in the land of Israel. This mountain is a symbol of the power, Magisty and Glory that is the name of God. Mount Hermon represents God's Glory most high indeed.

In short a Love Story between God and His people. Amen.
A Father and His Children. Carl
