 43:3   Your dwelling-place

The word for Tabernacle is Mishkan (משכן), from the Hebrew root ש-כ-נ, which means ‘to dwell.’ The Mishkan was erected in the desert as a temporary dwelling for Hashem, which was ultimately replaced by a permanent resting place, in the form of the Beit Hamikdash on Mount Moriah. But getting there took some time. Korah Sages trace the travels of the Mishkan in the Land of Israel: Fourteen years in Gilgal, 369 years in Shilo, and another 57 years in Nov and Givon. Altogether, it took 440 years from the entry of the Children of Israel into Eretz Yisrael until Shlomo built the Beit Hamikdash. In this psalm, the psalmist asks God for light and truth to help him return to the holy mountain, to the resting place of the Lord.

    (Isaiah 7:14)
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us).

    “The Word Becomes Flesh!”

And the Word became flesh and dwelt (tabernacled) among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

You see; everything from the New Testament, (Brit Chadasha) was quoted and taken from the Old Testament (Tanakh) which was as a forerunner a shadow of what was to come.
    (1 Chronicles 29:14)
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.

    (1 Corinthians 6:19)
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
The Lord has tabernacled amongst us and our bodies have now become His resting place where His Spirit, (Ruach Hakodesh) dwells. Then through Him who abides in us we can also be shining lights in the darkness of this world in these end / perilous times. (Phil 2:15)

    (Isaiah 60:1)
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

  • The Tabernacle, The dwelling place for God. At the first was temporary and was in the desert designed to be made temporary due to the continual journey of the Jewish peoples through the desert. It would eventually find a permanent home on
Mount. Moriah. However taking there to the temples final completion would be 440 years. This would be the permanent resting place for the presence of the Lord. the psalmists asks God for light and truth to help him return back to the holy mountain, to the resting place of the Lord.
There is increased talk of building the third Temple these days . They already have constructed to code all of the temple furniture and utensils. They have already started a school to train the Priestly order of Aron. The Temple Menorah Has been rebuilt and each year has been moved closer to the temple mount. The walls of the Temple have been
pr-fabricated and made ready to assemble according to code. The great curtain has been created to separate the Holy of Hollies. The Third and Final Temple will be built and in the next ten years. Carl
