3 For days are coming—declares Hashem—when I will restore the fortunes of My people Yisrael and Yehuda, said Hashem; and I will bring them back to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it.

ג כִּי הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה וְשַׁבְתִּי אֶת־שְׁבוּת עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל וִיהוּדָה אָמַר יְהֹוָה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִים אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נָתַתִּי לַאֲבוֹתָם וִירֵשׁוּהָ׃
30:3 I will bring them back to the land that I gave their fathers
The return of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel has great significance to all. The legendary first Chief Rabbi of Israel, Abraham Isaac Kook, wrote that “The building of the Israeli nation means the building of the land, the government, the army, the people and the spirit together…the rebirth of the nation is the foundation of the ‘Great Teshuva’ (‘Return’) — the ‘Great Teshuva’ of the Jewish nation and the teshuva of the entire world which comes in its wake.”
