  • Prayers – Some communities have the custom to add extra prayers to the service like Hallel and certain Psalms e.g. 107.
  • March of the Flags – Some people take part in a celebratory flag march from Gan Sachar, a park in central Jerusalem, to the Western Wall. This is accompanied by israeli flags, music and dancing.
