At the Tower of Babel, humanity united to build a tower so tall that it would reach the heavens to “make a name for ourselves.” In response, God decided to confuse the people’s language and spread them across the world.
This event serves as a reminder that human ambition becomes dangerous when not grounded in a belief in, and relationship with, God.
