Sneh (Burning Bush)
s’-NEH
Moses encountered a burning bush while he was tending to his father-in-law Jethro’s flock in the wilderness. The bush was on fire but miraculously not burned by the flames. As he approached the bush, God spoke to him from within it and told him that he had been chosen to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. This event marked the beginning of Moses’ journey as a prophet and leader of his people.
The Israel Bible is the world’s first Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) centered around the Land of Israel, the People of Israel, and the dynamic relationship between them.
