What did Elisha do in the Bible

Elisha was born and raised in the town of Abel-meholah, south of Beth-shean in the Jordan Valley. He was anointed as a prophet by Elijah, at Hashem’s command, and was a faithful student until Elijah’s ascension. Elisha is famous for many miracles, including one after his death, when a body that was placed in his grave came back to life. Elisha prophesied during the reigns of the Northern Kingdom kings Joram, Jehu, Jehoahaz, and Jehoash.
