What happened at Building the First Temple?

King Solomon was tasked by his father, King David, to build a Temple to God on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem.

With resources from Israel along with cedars and cypress trees from Lebanon (donated by King Hiram of Tyre), Solomon’s workers built the Temple over a period of seven years.

This Temple, called the Beit HaMikdash (the House of Holiness) in Hebrew, stood for 410 years.
