What did Isaiah do in the Bible

Isaiah was a prophet during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah from the kingdom of Judah. During Isaiah’s lifetime, he saw the kingdom of Israel exiled by the Assyrian empire and kingdom of Judah decline dramatically. Isaiah was the most poetic of all the prophets. Although he uttered many pronouncements of rebuke, he is most well-known for his beautiful and uplifting prophecies of consolation and hope.
