Why Doesn’t God Bake Bread?

Why doesn’t God just bake our bread for us? Wouldn’t the ultimate success be a life of leisure, never having to work? Not quite! God designed the world for us to create, build, and contribute. The story of Adam and Eve isn’t just about exile—it’s about unlocking human potential through work and creativity.

Bread is a perfect example of this process. Unlike fruits that are ready to eat, bread requires multiple steps—planting, harvesting, grinding, shaping, and baking—reflecting our divine role as creators in the world. God didn’t make a world where everything is handed to us; He made a world where we partner with Him in building something greater.
