Rabbi Menachem Mendel Morgensztern

(1787–1859) – Otherwise known as Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk, he was born in Poland and became a Hasidic rabbi and leader. He is known for his sharp-witted sayings and down-to-earth philosophies.
