Al igual que su padre David, Salom\u00f3n fue ungido cuando se convirti\u00f3 en rey, como dice: \u00abEl sacerdote Sadoc tom\u00f3 el cuerno de aceite de la Tienda y <g id=\"gid_1\">ungi\u00f3 a<\/g> Salom\u00f3n. Tocaron el cuerno y todo el pueblo grit\u00f3: \u00ab\u00a1Viva el rey Salom\u00f3n!\u00bb\u00bb. (1 Reyes 1:39).  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El aceite que se utilizaba para ungir a los reyes en la antig\u00fcedad tambi\u00e9n se utilizaba para ungir a los sumos sacerdotes que serv\u00edan en el Templo sagrado de Jerusal\u00e9n. El aceite representa la sabidur\u00eda y pretende ser una bendici\u00f3n para que los dirigentes de la naci\u00f3n sirvan con rectitud y seg\u00fan la sabidur\u00eda que reciban de Dios. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los vasos del Tabern\u00e1culo tambi\u00e9n se ung\u00edan con aceite, consagr\u00e1ndolos y transform\u00e1ndolos en algo sagrado que se utilizaba para servir y adorar a Dios.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La tradici\u00f3n jud\u00eda ense\u00f1a que el aceite original que se utilizaba para ungir a reyes y sacerdotes en el antiguo Israel a\u00fan existe, aunque est\u00e1 oculto. Al final de los d\u00edas, se revelar\u00e1 y se utilizar\u00e1 para ungir al Rey Mes\u00edas y al Sumo Sacerdote en el Tercer Templo reconstruido. Se cumplir\u00e1 as\u00ed el vers\u00edculo: \u00ab\u00a1Regr\u00e9sanos, Dios, a Ti, y haznos volver; renueva nuestros d\u00edas como anta\u00f1o!\u00bb. (Lamentaciones 5:21).
