La ra\u00edz de la palabra <g id=\"gid_1\">Mishk\u00e1n<\/g> significa \u00abhabitar\u00bb, como dice el vers\u00edculo: \u00abY que Me hagan un santuario para que Yo <g id=\"gid_2\">habite <\/g>entre ellos\u00bb (\u00c9xodo 25:8). La presencia de Dios se sent\u00eda y experimentaba en el <g id=\"gid_3\">Mishk\u00e1n <\/g>m\u00e1s que en ning\u00fan otro lugar de la Tierra. La palabra hebrea para designar la presencia de Dios es <em>Shejin\u00e1, <\/em>que comparte la misma ra\u00edz gramatical que <em>Mishk\u00e1n<\/em>.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los sabios ense\u00f1an que el <em>Mishkan <\/em>era una expiaci\u00f3n por el pecado del becerro de oro. Al adorar al becerro de oro, el pueblo demostr\u00f3 su fe en el polite\u00edsmo, la creencia de que hay muchas fuerzas dispares en el mundo controladas por muchos dioses. El <g id=\"gid_1\">Mishkan <\/g>era una expiaci\u00f3n por este pecado, pues era una morada para el \u00fanico Dios verdadero del universo. Al construir este santuario, el pueblo reconoci\u00f3 que todas las fuerzas de la naturaleza emanan \u00fanicamente de Dios.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <em>Mishk\u00e1n<\/em> estaba hecho de muchas partes diferentes y dispares, como madera, diversos metales, tejidos y pieles de animales. Sin embargo, al completarse el <em>Mishk\u00e1n<\/em>, la Biblia declara que \u00abel <em>Mishk\u00e1n<\/em> era un todo\u00bb (\u00c9xodo 26:6), subrayando que, a pesar de la gran diversidad de partes del <em>Mishk\u00e1n<\/em>, \u00e9ste pose\u00eda una unidad inherente. Lo mismo ocurre con el mundo entero.
