Shofar<\/em>, que en hebreo significa \u00abcuerno\u00bb, se refiere a la trompeta de cuerno de carnero utilizada a lo largo de la historia jud\u00eda en ceremonias religiosas y como se\u00f1al de batalla. Hoy en d\u00eda, el shofar<\/em> se toca principalmente en Rosh Hashan\u00e1, la fiesta que celebra el a\u00f1o nuevo jud\u00edo. La Biblia se refiere a Rosh Hashan\u00e1 como \u00abel d\u00eda del toque del sh<\/em> ofar\u00bb, ya que el toque del shofar<\/em> es el componente central y el foco de atenci\u00f3n de ese d\u00eda. El toque del shofar <\/em>recuerda el carnero que Abraham sacrific\u00f3 en lugar de Isaac, recordando a Dios los m\u00e9ritos de nuestros santos antepasados. <\/p>\n\n

El shofar<\/em> est\u00e1 relacionado gramaticalmente con la palabra hebrea shipur<\/em>, que significa \u00abmejora\u00bb, pues el sonido del shofar<\/em> puede despertar a la gente e inspirarla para que mejore sus caminos y realinee su vida con la palabra de Dios. El profeta Am\u00f3s pregunt\u00f3: \u00abCuando suena el cuerno de un carnero en una ciudad, \u00bfno tiembla el pueblo?\u00bb. (Am\u00f3s 3:6). Cuando Dios entreg\u00f3 la Biblia a los hijos de Israel en el monte Sina\u00ed, el toque del shofar<\/em> los estremeci\u00f3 hasta la m\u00e9dula: \u00abAl amanecer del tercer d\u00eda, hubo truenos y rel\u00e1mpagos, y una densa nube sobre el monte, y un toque muy fuerte de shofar<\/em>; y tembl\u00f3 todo el pueblo que estaba en el campamento\u00bb (\u00c9xodo 19:16). <\/p>\n\n

El shofar<\/em> se utilizaba en el antiguo Israel el d\u00eda de Yom Kippur, durante el a\u00f1o del Jubileo, para proclamar la libertad de todos los esclavos y anunciar la devoluci\u00f3n de todas las tierras a sus propietarios ancestrales originales, pues el toque del shofar <\/em>se\u00f1ala que ha llegado una nueva era. Como explica el profeta Isa\u00edas, el shofar <\/em>anunciar\u00e1 la reuni\u00f3n de los exiliados en Jerusal\u00e9n y la redenci\u00f3n final. \u00abY aquel d\u00eda se tocar\u00e1 un gran shofar<\/em>… y vendr\u00e1n y adorar\u00e1n a Dios en el monte santo, en Jerusal\u00e9n\u00bb (Isa\u00edas 27:13). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
