Aunque al principio huye, al final Yon\u00e1s sigue el mandato de Dios. Gracias a su profec\u00eda, el pueblo de N\u00ednive se arrepiente y se salva de la destrucci\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/theisraelbible.com\/bible\/jonah-3\/#verse_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(Jon\u00e1s 3:1-10)<\/a>.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En lugar de ir a N\u00ednive como Dios le hab\u00eda ordenado, Jon\u00e1s primero huye. Huye a la ciudad portuaria de <strong>Yaffo<\/strong> (Jope) para escapar de su misi\u00f3n, donde sube a un barco que se dirige a Tarsis <a href=\"https:\/\/theisraelbible.com\/es\/el-libro-de-jonas\/jonah-1-2\/#verse_3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(Jon\u00e1s 1:3)<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No est\u00e1 claro d\u00f3nde estaba exactamente <strong>Tarsis<\/strong>.
