4:20  But Yehuda shall be inhabited forever

Yehuda is Yaakov’s fourth son. When the land is divided amongst the tribes of Israel, Yehuda receives the vast territory south of Yerushalayim, extending from the Dead Sea in the east to the Mediterranean in the west. For centuries, this area has been known as the region of Yehuda, or Judea. Though many people seek to sever the bond between the Jewish people and Judea, the biblical heartland of the Jewish people, through His prophet Yoel God promises that Yehuda will exist forever.

i think when the Messiah comes all living in israle will live in pease, the small country will get larger thru divine action. It can't happen any other way

  • Yes you are both correct, think of when all Jews return. The borders will have to extend to the promise of Abraham. What a glorious day that will be. I pray that I will see that day.

a good day for us but what about othres that are good and lived their for millenniums , what happends to them in so smalla land

  • I'm sure you're correct, they say 'seeing is believing' don't they! but for we who faith in G-d then our faith works without seeing. Many have seen what G-d has done in Israel since 1948, how the Land has blossomed so beautifully, it would never have happened had not the Jewish people were returned to the Land given to them so many years ago. We are blessed to have the awesome photos on the 365 site, Len Borach and others show us daily the wonderful places in Israel. Yes, it would be lovely to come and see these things, and yes, one's heart longs to be able to walk in Israel.

  • I think it’s more appropriate to say here that Elohim reiterates HIS covenant promises to the Patriarchs through Joel. Those that argue that Yehudah has no claim to the Land ignore the weight of Scripture and the physical evidence that even a child can see and understand.
Since the nation of Y’srael has been re-established, the Land has blossomed under the hands of the people. The beauty and the abundance is unprecedented in modern history. Look at the countries surrounding this “jewel” in the Middle East and judge for yourself. No man can truly understand this matter until he has walked the streets and by-ways of this Land for himself. Go and see the truth!
    Baruch Hashem.
